Travel to the City of Glens Falls, known by the popular moniker as “Hometown U.S.A”, for a seasonal race coinciding with Halloween. A staple of the Glens Falls Area for several decades, the Goblin Gallop 5K draws active participants far and wide for a day of exercise and goodies! The Goblin Gallop supports racers of all ages with a Halloween 1K at 10:30 AM for children ages 12 and under in tandem with their 5K at 9:30 AM, which is a two-loop flat course run through residential Glens Falls.
Every Goblin Gallop racer gets a commemorative race shirt and every child receives a trick or treat goodie bag in celebration of Halloween. Make sure you’re registered by October 10th to obtain these special perks! The fall foliage and scenic houses create an idyllic atmosphere as you race away from the ghouls and goblins populating Glens Falls!
Race Day Schedule
- 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM – Packet pickup and registration at the Abraham Wing School in Glens Falls.
- 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM – The 5K race commences in residential Glens Falls.
- 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM – The Halloween Hop 1K begins in the last hour of the event.
Registration & Pricing
Participants can register online or in person on race day from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM. Pricing starts at $30 for individuals who register online with a $3 discount for Adirondack Runners club members. The pricing increases to $35 for race day registration.
Awards & Age Groups
Awards go to the best overall racers alongside the best in specific age categories, such as children ages 12 and under for the Halloween Hop 1K.
