Taking place in North Creek, New York, this two-day Gore Mountain festival highlights the very best of the season—brilliant foliage, local artisans, family-friendly activities, hearty autumn foods, and unforgettable mountain views. Whether you’re traveling from the Lake George Area to Gore Mountain for a day trip or planning a weekend getaway, the Gore Mountain Harvest Fest is one of the best fall festivals in Upstate NY.

Fall Activities & Things to Do

The Gore Mountain Harvest Fest is designed for all ages, with activities spread across the mountain’s base area and peaks:

  • Family Fun: Field games, fall crafts, scavenger hunts, and live performances
  • Outdoor Recreation: Mountain biking, disc golf, and hiking challenges across Gore’s four peaks
  • Scenic Rides: Ride the Gore Mountain gondola or the Adirondack Express for sweeping leaf-peeping opportunities
  • Photo Opportunities: Capture panoramic fall foliage views—bring your camera!

This is a free festival to attend, with tickets required only for gondola skyrides and certain mountain activities. Please note that ticket sales close at 3:00 PM each day. The last skyride begins at 3:15 PM.

It’s not a harvest festival without autumn flavors! Guests can enjoy:

  • Open Pit Grille: Hearty barbecue and seasonal specialties
  • Base Lodge Food Court: Classic favorites with an Adirondack twist from the Tannery, an outdoor bar, and Gore’s own waffle cabin!
