Discovery Series: Snowshoe Hike 1
Go for a snowshoe hike in scenic Bolton Landing!
Trained naturalists with the Lake George Land Conservancy will take you on a guided snowshoe tour through Amy’s Park in search of animals tracks and other unique items that can be found in nature. The naturalist guides will teach you about the different Adirondack flora and fauna in the wilderness while also educating you about the various ways these organisms survive in the harsh winter environment of the Adirondacks. Multiple layers and strong boots along with food and water are highly recommended for this hike.
Important facts for the hike:
- The tour goes on the Yellow Trail for 1.2 miles around trip
- This is an easy/moderate hike with a short steep section on the trail
- The hike is most appropriate for hikers ages 7 and older
