It’s a Pug Party!
It’s a Pug Party! – September 20, 2026
Grab your leash and your sense of humor — the beloved Pug Party returns on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at Benjamin C. Butler Pavilion Park in Lake Luzerne, outside of Lake George Village. Formerly known as Pugs and Pumpkins, this gathering has become one of the quirkiest and most heartwarming fall traditions in the region.
Who Should Go?
This event is for dog lovers of all kinds — whether you own a pug, another breed, or simply want to enjoy a lighthearted community day filled with wagging tails and costumes. Families, kids, and even those without pets are welcome. You don’t need a pug to join in the fun!
What’s It Like?
Imagine hundreds of pugs (and pug “imposters”) dressed in costumes parading through the park. Add contests, pumpkin decorating, food, music, and vendors — and you’ve got a one-of-a-kind fall festival. Expect plenty of laughter, adorable photo opportunities, and the kind of joyful chaos only pugs can provide.

A Little History
