Pond Skim at Gore Mountain

Splash away at the Pond Skim!
Gore Mountain will be hosting the Pond Skim, a competition to determine who can get across the pond first! Skimmers will complete the course in bib order from youngest to oldest. Those with the best costume, biggest splash, and best overall skim will gain points. It is advised that when you skim to please wear a helmet for your own safety. It is also advised that skimmers use no poles. After the event, prizes will be given out on the Sundeck!
2026 Schedule:
- 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM: Go to the Base Lodge for register/check in. You can grab your bib near the ATM and go to the Mountain. Contest takes place on The Arena trail.
- 10:30 AM: The competition begins in the Arena. Skimmers will complete the course in bib order from youngest to oldest.
